Both teams are 0-1 as they battle in week two. The Redskins opened up the year on Monday Night Football and had trouble with the Chip Kelly high octane offense and fell 33-27 as a -4 point betting favorite. The Redskins adjusted better defensively at the half as they allowed seven Eagles points. Washington could not make up that 26-7 deficit after two quarters. Robert Griffin III is coming off major knee surgery and missed the entire preseason. His rush showed in the first half and early second half. He came on later in the second half and led the team to an onside kick recovery away from having the ball with a chance to win late. For the game Griffin hit on 30 of 49 for 329 yards with two touchdowns and two picks. Green Bay loses 34-28 at San Francisco in week one as a +5 point road underdog. The Packers moved the ball very well and went a perfect 4 of 4 inside the red zone. Once again the Green Bay defense was torched by the 49ers offense. They allowed Colin Kaepernick to throw for 412 yards and three touchdowns passes despite doing a pretty good job of stuffing the 49ers run game. Aaron Rodgers threw for 333 yards with a touchdown and a pick in the lost. These two teams last met in 2012 with Washington winning 16-13 in overtime as a +2 ½ point home underdog.
