The New York Giants are facing some turmoil in the organization with a 0-2 record on the year. They have a road defeat at Dallas and last week lost at home to the Atlanta Falcons. At issue has been lost fourth quarter leads in both games and some questionable clock management issues offensively as well. On the defensive side of the football the Giants have had problems defending the pass. They are giving up 351 yards per game through the air ranking 32nd and last in the NFL. Some can argue that in two games many teams would look bad in the pass defense column if they were facing Tony Romo and Matt Ryan to open the year. Giants quarterback Eli Manning is completing 62% of his passes for 485 yardd with two touchdowns and no picks. Manning has been without Victor Cruz for the first two games as the wide receiver has been sidelined with a calf injury and there is no time table set for a return to the playing field.

The Washington Redskins are a 1-1 team. They opened up the season at home to the Miami Dolphins and couldn’t hold onto a 10-0 lead as they fell 17-10 as a +4 point underdog. They lose by giving up a 69 yard punt return with just over four minutes remaining. The Redskins in week two were at home again this time facing the St Louis Rams. Behind strong play from their offensive line Washington was able to run to victory by the score of 24-10 and covering the spread as a +3 point underdog. The Redskins had 182 rushing yards in the win.
