Dallas has fallen to 5-6 on the season as the team has dropped three straight games. They are without star running back Ezekiel Elliot who is forced to serve out a six game suspension. Left tackle Tyron Smith has been bothered by a back problem and the pass blocking offensive lineman has been listed as questionable. A huge injury on the defensive side of the football has been linebacker Sean Lee. The Cowboys defensive production suffers greatly with the absence of Lee. The veteran linebacker is out for Thursday and is scheduled to return to the team in mid-December which is a huge blow to the Cowboys chances of making the playoffs. Without Elliot the Cowboys have hit a tailspin as the offense has averaged just seven points per game in that span. Their past effort on Thanksgiving Day resulted in a 28-6 defeat at home to the LA Chargers. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott during this losing streak has thrown no touchdowns passes but has five interceptions.

Washington enters with a record of 5-6 also. They faced the New York Giants at home on Thanksgiving and came away with the 20-10 home victory and cover as a 7 point favorite. This broke the Redskins two game losing streak and they had dropped four of five entering that contest. In that span the Redskins defense had allowed 33 points or greater in four of those games. Washington has played a very tough schedule. Notable victories on the road came at the LA Rams and at the Seattle Seahawks. Quarterback Kirk Cousins is completing 66% of his passes this season with 19 touchdowns and six interceptions.
