The NBA returns to ABC TV in primetime as the Cleveland Cavaliers are home to the San Antonio Spurs. Things get started from Cleveland at 8:30PM Eastern Time. The first meeting between these teams took place on Thursday January 14th where the Spurs posted the 99-95 home victory but failed to cover the spread as a -6 point favorite. Spurs were down 32-20 after one quarter and limited the Cavs to just 63 points the rest of the way. Cleveland was sloppy with the basketball in their loss by committing 18 turnovers. LeBron James had 22 points to lead the Cavs but came far short from hitting on a triple double. Tony Parker had 24 points in the win for San Antonio as he connected on 11 of his 18 shots. The Spurs bench contributed with 35 points.

At 1PM Eastern Time on CBS TV the Louisville Cardinals will host the Virginia Cavaliers. Virginia was off to a slow start to the season. They will carry a three game win streak into this ACC conference affair after a 72-71 road victory at Wake Forest on Tuesday night. Louisville has won four straight with the 91-83 road victory at Virginia Tech but failed to cover as a -10 point favorite.

On ESPN TV at 5PM Eastern Time it’s the LSU Tigers at home to face the Oklahoma Sooners. This is part of the SEC versus Big 12 challenge. Oklahoma is 17-2 on the year and is coming off a 91-67 home victory to Texas Tech on Tuesday. LSU has been good at home with a mark of 11-1. They carry a two game win streak after beating Georgia 89-85 on Tuesday night.

The prime time game over ESPN TV at 7PM Eastern Time, features the Kansas Jayhawks hosting the Kentucky Wildcats. Kentucky has had trouble in their true road games with a record of 2-3 straight up. Recent road losses came at Auburn and LSU. Kansas is a tough team to beat at home. The Jayhawks are 10-0 on their home court.
