Detroit has a two game win streak after a home win to Oakland last week.

At 4:30PM Eastern Time on CBS TV the Dallas Cowboys will host the Carolina Panthers. This game is lined at a pick with the over under set at 45 ½ points. The Panthers are 10-0 after a blowout home victory to Washington. The Cowboys broke a seven game losing streak as Tony Romo returned under center in a 24-14 road win at Miami.

The Green Bay Packers are home to face the Chicago Bears at 8:30PM Eastern Time on NBC TV. Green Bay is favored by -9 points with the over under set at 46 ½ points. The Packers broke a three game losing streak after their convincing victory at Minnesota to regain the division lead in the NFC North division.

The college football action gets underway at 7:30PM Eastern Time on FOX Sports 1 as the Texas Longhorns will host the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The Longhorns are a -1 ½ point wagering favorite with the over under line set at 72 ½ points. Texas sits at 4-6 and needs a win in this spot plus a victory against Baylor last week. Texas Tech is bowl eligible after a 59-44 home victory to Kansas St.

On ESPN TV at 7:30PM Eastern Time the Central Florida Knights will host the South Florida Bulls. Central Florida is 0-11 as the club’s once stout defense has digressed badly. South Florida is bowl eligible at 7-4 as they have shown much improvement after several disappointing years.
