The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the road team Indianapolis Colts the -1 point favorite with the over under line set at 45 points. The big concern from this game has been the health of Colts quarterback Andrew Luck. He has been bothered by a shoulder injury and he has told reporters that he will play on Thursday night. Houston returns home at 1-3 after a bad 48-21 road defeat at the Atlanta Falcons. The Texans fell behind 42-0 after three quarters in this game. After a 0-2 start the Colts has a two point win at Tennessee by successfully defending a two point conversion in the final seconds. They defeated Jacksonville last week in overtime by the score of 16-13.

College football on ESPN2 TV gets underway at 8PM Eastern Time as the Houston Cougars will be home to the SMU Mustangs. Houston is a -25 ½ point favorite with the over under line set at 72 ½ points. Houston is off to a 4-0 start to the year. They have a notable three point win in week two at Louisville. SMU is 1-4 but is showing much improvement on the offensive side of the football than their miserable season last year. SMU has work to do on defense ranking near the bottom of college football in all categories.

At 9PM Eastern Time over on ESPN TV it’s a PAC 12 conference showdown as the USC Trojans will be home to the Washington Huskies. The Trojans are favored at home by -17 points with the total lined at 56 points. USC after a 41-31 defeat in week three at home to Stanford the Trojans rebounded with an impressive 42-14 road win at Arizona St. Washington is 2-2 and suffering on offense with a freshman quarterback and very young playmakers. The Huskies defense has played well.
