NFL Thursday Night Football will feature the Cincinnati Bengals at home to face the Houston Texans. The Bengals and Texans get things started from Cincinnati at 8:25PM Eastern Time and NFL Network has the coast to coast broadcast. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the home side Cincinnati Bengals favored by -6 ½ points with the over under line set at 38 points. Cincinnati had a disappointing opener to their season as they get shut out at home to the Baltimore Ravens 20-0 as a 2 ½ point favorite. Bengals had some poor offensive numbers gaining only 221 yards and only 144 yards in their passing game that is full of weapons. Quarterback Andy Dalton threw four interceptions and the Bengals lost a fumble for a total of five turnovers. It didn’t take long before Houston head coach Bill O’Brien benched Tom Savage and go with rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson their first round pick out of Clemson. Houston fell at home to Jacksonville 29-7. Texans gave up 10 quarterback sacks.

It will be Mountain West conference action on ESPN TV at 8PM Eastern Time as the Boise St Broncos will host the New Mexico Lobos. Boise St is favored by -14 ½ points with the total lined at 58 ½ points. Two years ago New Mexico pulled off a shocker as they beat Boise St on the road 31-24 as a 31 point underdog. The Broncos got their revenge last year by defeating the Lobos 49-21 on the road. Boise St enters this game with a frustrating 47-44 overtime loss at Washington St where they blew a 31-10 lead in the fourth quarter. They don’t have that power run game of the past and the defense has digressed since those good teams of prior seasons. New Mexico has to shake off the effects of a 30-28 home defeat to New Mexico St as the Lobos nearly overcame a 25 point fourth quarter deficit as they missed a two point conversion in the closing minutes that would have forced overtime.
