Thursday Night NFL Football begins at 8:25PM Eastern Time on CBS TV that features the Buffalo Bills at home to meet the New York Jets. College Football will air a single game at 7:30PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV as the Cincinnati Bearcats will host the Houston Cougars. The Cougars are favored on the road by -7 ½ points with the total lined at 64 points. Houston earned a major bowl berth playing in a minor conference and beat Florida St in the Peach Bowl. This year the Cougars have hopes of running the table and earning a playoff berth. They had a huge test in their opener at home hosting Oklahoma where they beat the Sooners 33-23 as a +13 point underdog. Cincinnati is 2-0 on the year. They beat FCS school Tennessee Martin in their opener. Last week they traveled to Purdue and won 38-20 covering as a -3 point favorite on the road. The Bearcats in the win surrendered 504 yards to the Purdue offense.
